Mobile computing and Smartphone maker Palm recently announced to step up its operations in China and Asia via collaboration with China Mobile and other measures. Palm is establishing its first Asia-Pacific R&D and Operations Center in Shanghai to develop next-generation Smartphones and work on local language customization. Also, Palm has entered into collaboration with CEC Telecom Science and Technology to launch the Palm Treo 680 Smartphone, to be distributed by Beijing Riverwill Communication Technology.
